  • Participate in small call center setting handling incoming calls and emails from customers and sales organization

Job Title: Industrial Engineer

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for their Distribution Center’s (DC) continuous process improvement efforts designed to improve productivity and lower operating cost. This role will provide the expertise and leadership in project management to maximize our total performance and operating capability of each functional group in their DC. This person is responsible for insuring DC management is trained and is following best methods. They will support their DC in project management related to best practices, technology applications, material handling systems, facility planning, labor management systems and procedures to ensure that business and project objectives are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives process standardization and improvements “inside the four walls” of the distribution center to ensure the success in meeting its objectives.
  • Provide project management leadership and is responsible for the development of labor management systems / projects.
  • Work with DC management in the discovery of inefficiencies in day to day operations and challenges while drawing support for change across the network
  • Leads the solution development, cost benefit analysis and implementation of distribution improvement opportunities in the DC.
  • Researches and maintains knowledge of emerging industry practice.
  • Responsible for supporting Slotting & Zoning for the DC to maximize the use the DC available cubic space by improving storage and picking efficiency leading to lower handling costs.
  • Responsible for supporting the slotting manager.
  • Establish, develop and maintain a future Labor Management & Engineered Standards Program for the DC, this includes the following:
    • Develops standards for new operations.
    • Monitors the accuracy of the installed standards on a continuous basis; conduct follow-up studies to verify standards.
    • Identifies improvements in methods, procedures, equipment, or work flow which increase output or quality.
    • Collects the data necessary to update the current standards to reflect any changes to an operation.
    • Holds meetings with supervisors and employees to present changes in procedures, equipment, and/or standards.
    • Updates the Labor Management System of changes to existing standards or the introduction of new standards.
    • Maintains complete records of all time studies or other data used to change standards.
    • Updates existing documentation to reflect changes in procedures, equipment, or standards.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment, displays a customer-focused approach, seeks continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of velocity, inventory, and cube analysis.

Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders and investigate problems.
  • Maintain WMS inventory, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary; label shelves.
  • Process and document returns as required following established procedures.
  • Collect and confirm dimensions/weights of new product and existing inventory as appropriate using Cubiscan machine.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and preparing daily status reports.
  • May train staff/temp employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work
  • Inventory tasks may require use of equipment (forklift, EPJ) to move product as needed.
  • Use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and other warehouse management systems.

Job Title: Slotting Manager

The Slotting Manager is responsible for the Distribution Center’s (DC) productivity and throughput through the optimal slotting of inventory locations for all product movement that results in meeting business needs. The position is responsible for managing efficient slotting of warehouse product locations through proactive use of ERP and WMS to provide a more effective and efficient selector environment using Core Efficiencies and Golden Zone criteria, and meet / exceed customer satisfaction levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product movement within the DC based on seasons.
  • Provide new item set up information.
  • Fix Unit of Measure (UOM) issues.
  • Monitor discontinued product.
  • Works with Operations Managers and Department Managers to improve production output and quality by slotting each line for maximum efficiency.
  • Work with Inventory Control Operations Manager to identify inventory discrepancies and take appropriate training and re-training action to improve root cause activity.
  • Works to improve production output and quality through identification of slow, in-active or discontinued products, re-locating them to improve selector environment.
  • Proactively locate promotional products or IN-OUT distributions.
  • Perform periodic analysis of product sales and determine changes to slotting placements.
  • Prepare and present reports containing detailed inventory slotting information.

Mud Pie is seeking a Sales Support Associate to join our Sales team. The Sales Support Associate will support the internal and external sales team, and work directly with specialty retail stores nationwide.  Reporting to, and under the direction of the Director of Independent Channel Sales & Marketing, the Sales Support Associate will be responsible for day-to-day marketing tasks to drive the sales of Mud Pie Products.

  • Communicate frequently with Sales Management team via phone and email
  • Handle administrative and basic reporting tasks
  • Prepare product training materials for Sales Representatives
  • Assist in preparation of and attend Sales Meetings
    • Plan events and workshops for 100+ guests at week long annual sales meeting
  • Assist in preparation and organization of trade shows, including packing and setting up trade show booths, training and customer sales.  Travel approximately 33% of time.

Job Title: Business Analyst

Mud Pie is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and serve as a key resource in business reporting, data maintenance and business process support. The Business Analyst is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting applications to ensure Mud Pie’s business process are functioning properly.  This role is also responsible for documenting business processes and translating data into digestible information.  In addition, the Business Analyst will support multiple projects simultaneously and be responsible for monthly reporting. This individual should have strong technical knowledge base and apply those skills to support of all Mud Pie departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot enterprise applications, including managing the support process, documenting and implementing resolution
  • Document all business processes
  • Build reports within business applications (Apprise, WMS, SQL)
  • Assist with day-to-day reporting responsibilities, including Month End reporting, Sales reporting, etc.
  • Data administration -- assist in ensuring and maintaining integrity of data throughout the organization.
  • Track and report all system changes and enhancements

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of related experience in a business or data analyst role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related field
